Pink Starburst Jell-O shots are so pretty in pink. They make the perfect addition to a Valentine’s party (or any party.)

Supplies For These Two Toned Pink Starburst Jell-O Shots
- 1 ounce shot glasses – I got mine from Dollar Tree
- Mini muffin pan – to prop the cups up sideways for the diagonal two toned look
- 3 oz package Pink Starburst Jell-O
- 3 oz package Strawberry Jell-O
- 8 ounces Vodka (optional) You can use plain, strawberry, whipped cream or vanilla flavored vodka
- 3-4 cups boiling water (you’ll need 4 cups if you choose to make these as virgin Jell-O shots)
- Whipped cream
- Valentine Sprinkles
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry Jell-O in a mixing bowl, combine one cup of boiling water and the strawberry Jell-O powder. Stir well until the Jell-O is completely dissolved.
- Add either one cup cold water for non-alcoholic Jell-O shots or 1/2 cup cold water + 1/2 cup vodka of choice for Jell-O shots containing alcohol
- Fill shot glasses halfway full. For the diagonal look I used, tilt shot glasses in a mini muffin pan.
- Place in refrigerator to set. One hour should be enough
- While the strawberry half is setting, prepare the pink starburst layer following the same directions. Allow it to come to room temperature while the strawberry layer sets.
- When the first layer is set, add the pink starburst Jell-O mix to the shot glasses. You can put them back in the mini muffin tin for ease of transport to and from the refrigerator, this time not tilted obviously.
- Allow the second layer to set, they should be ready in an hour
- Just before serving, top with whipped cream and Valentine sprinkles.
- Top with a sequin heart pick. This not only looks cute, it also serves the purpose of releasing the Jell-O shot by scraping it around the outside edge.
