What is a Greenlight Account
Greenlight accounts are popular with teens, tweens and their parents for good reason. It’s basically a bank account with a debit card. There is a corresponding app that allows your kids to move their money from spending to savings goals, they can invest, you can set up allowance and chores, and many more perks.
One of my favorite features of having a Greenlight account is that I can quickly transfer money to their accounts if they are out with a friend and need money for something.
My kids have iPhones so we have added their debit cards to their Apple Pay wallets. This is so convenient so they always have access to their accounts and I don’t have to worry about them losing their debit cards.
Greenlight Accounts are a great way for kids to learn more about money and managing it. Visit Greenlight’s website to learn more.
