Planning a girls’ trip, whether for a milestone 40th birthday, a bachelorette party, or a simple getaway, is all about fun, laughter, and memorable moments. With travel, days spent in the sun, nights spent dancing, eating all the food and having drinks, we may end up not feeling the best for day two.
To ensure everyone is ready to tackle the next day’s adventures, a well-stocked hangover survival kit can be a game changer. Here’s how to create the ultimate recovery kit for your girls’ trip!

Assembling The Recovery Kits

Create Weekend Survival Kit Tags
- Create your own circle tags in Canva using a circle sticker size or use my template as a starting point
- If using mine, open the Canva template
- Edit the tag to say the correct name and event details and change the layers of the tag to match your event. Depending on the length of the name, you may need to adjust the font size or the curve for it to fit. The curve setting is under “effects”
- Download the tag as a high quality png file
- Create a new Canva letter size document
- Insert the png file into the document.
- Adjust the size of tag to 2.01 inch x 2.01 inch
- Copy and paste the tag as many time as will fit on the page
- Download and print the document using highest quality print setting
- Cut the tags out either with the circle punch or scissors
Fill the Mini Hangover Weekend Recovery Kit Holographic Bags with the items that fit. Attach the circle tag to the front.
Create and Add Water Bottle Labels
- Design water bottle labels in Canva or design application of your choice. Download your design.
- Go to Avery.com and select the water bottle label template.
- Add your design to the template and adjust to fit
- Print a test sheet on regular paper. Place the label paper behind it and hold it up to a light so you can see if the printout is within the sticker labels. If not, adjust and test again.
- Once your print is aligned, print on sticker paper using highest quality print settings
- Remove the water bottle brand labels from the bottles
- Remove your printed labels. I keep the backing on the center part of the label and just remove the backing from the edges so they’re easier to adjust. There are perforations on the backing to help you do this.
- Attach labels to water bottles
Place All Items in the Clear Plastic Recovery Bags
Print, Cut Out and Attach Crosses to the Front of Each Bag
Attach a Coordinating Bow
Now your weekend recovery kits are ready for gifting. I added mine to welcome bags / goodie bags and they were so helpful to have on hand. These would also make perfect wedding weekend welcome bags for hotel guests. Another option would be to send them home as party favors when hosting your next event. The options are endless.

Enjoy Your Girls Trip!
With survival kits in hand, your group will be prepared for whatever ails them during your trip and it will hopefully make things more enjoyable.
Cheers to friendship, fun, and fabulous recovery!
