Adding Personalized Bows and Charcuterie Cones to Event Glassware

Adding personalized bows with names to champagne or wine glasses is a cute new alternative to wine charms. This was totally worth breaking my Cricut out of the box for the first time after years of owning it. It was easier than I imagined once I got the hang of it and now I’ll be personalizing everything. If you don’t have a Cricut, no worries, you can totally order iron on names on Etsy. You can even have names added to ribbons though I think it’s easier to iron the names on after you’ve tied the bows on the glasses.

I also rolled deli paper into cones, filled them with a charcuterie snack and clipped them to the glasses using mini clothespins. The charcuterie cones were a hit and allowed everyone to enjoy delicious bites while mingling freely.

Prepping the cones:

Watching a quick tutorial is probably easiest to see how to roll the deli papers into cones but I’ll try my best to describe it:

  • Fold deli sheet in half diagonally making a triangle. Cut off the excess.
  • Roll into a cone
  • Tape to hold in place
  • Add a grape to the bottom of the cone
  • Add charcuterie bites to toothpicks and place them in the cone

Adding the cones to the glasses:

Important: It’s best to fill the glass with your beverage of choice before adding the cones so they don’t tip over.

Simply clip the cone to the rim of the glass using a mini clothespin

Cheers!

The combination of personalizing the glassware and adding charcuterie cones made for the perfect welcome when everyone arrived at our Airbnb for the weekend. Having names on glasses helps everyone to know which one is theirs.

Cheers to good times and great memories with your guests!
