Chocolate-Dipped Oreo Turkey Lollipops are an easy and delicious no bake Thanksgiving treat. Kids love Oreos especially chocolate covered Oreo cookies so they make a perfect Thanksgiving classroom treat. See below how to make these turkey treats that are sure to impress both kids and adults.
Supplies for Chocolate Covered Oreo Turkey Pops
- Oreo Cookies: Double-stuffed work best for this project so the lollipop stick fits between the cookies
- Chocolate Melts: We used Ghirardelli milk chocolate melts
- Lollipop Sticks: we used these gold lollipop sticks. Alternatively you could use popsicle sticks.
- Candy corn or if not available, orange candy melts would work
- Feathers, I picked mine up at dollar tree.
- Non-toxic adhesive to attach feathers to the back of the lollipop. Glue dots or tape would work as well. Hot glue would not be a good option as it may melt through the plastic.
- Card stock or if you don’t have any, you could use regular paper to print out the tags
- Hole punch for the tags
- Parchment Paper: For cooling the dipped Oreos.
- Twist ties
- Ribbon
- Microwave-Safe Bowls or double boiler: For melting the chocolate.
