Gifting money can sometimes feel impersonal, but with a little creativity, you can make it more unique! One alternative to a simple card with money inside is to use this candle cut-out card to present your cash gift in a fun way. You could also use this with a digital printed gift card.
Instructions:
- Print the Free Printable Card and Candle Cut-Out onto cardstock using highest quality print setting. Click here to download the free printable design.
- Cut Them Out.
- Roll It Up: Once cut, roll the candle cut-out around a marker or pen and secure with tape.
- Roll the money or printed gift card and place inside the paper candle.
- Write your birthday message on the front or back of the card.
- Glue the rolled up candle to the card: Attach the rolled candle to the birthday card with glue or glue dots. It keeps the money hidden until the recipient opens it. (Be sure to tell the recipient to look inside the candle.)
- Pair with a treat: For a little something extra, attach the card to the recipients favorite candy. I like to use birthday cake truffles.
