Whether it’s for camping itself or a camping themed party, here are some creative camping-themed gift ideas you can easily make along with the Canva templates to customize them to your event :
Before we get started, here is everything you’ll need to create these DIY camping gifts:
Supplies:
- Cardstock to print the printables on
- Printer

- Twine or other natural fiber string

- Selfie Scavenger Hunt: Create a fun scavenger hunt for your camping crew. Participants can take selfies with various nature items—perfect for keeping everyone engaged and entertained. To get everyone even more interested in the activity, offer a cash prize to the first one who completes it.
- Nature Hunt for Kids: Tailor a scavenger hunt specifically for younger campers. This kid-friendly template using pictures instead of words, makes it easier for little ones to know what they are looking for.

Direction on How To DIY These Camp Themed Gifts:
- Edit the Canva templates to fit your event. You may need a pro account to do this. If you don’t have a pro account, there is usually a free trial period. Just set a reminder in your calendar to cancel before the free trial ends.
- Once edited, download them to your device.
- Create a new Canva document that is letter size 8.5×11. Insert your downloaded design into the document. Resize your design to your desired size by clicking Position, then Advanced. I used 3.85”x3.85” for the wish bracelet design 3”x3” for the camp hair design and 3”x8.5” for the scavenger hunts. Copy and paste each design within the document as many times as will fit.
- Download your documents with the different designs on them.
- Print them onto cardstock using the highest quality print setting .
- Cut them out.
- For the scavenger hunts, I tied a rustic twig pencil to each one using natural fiber string.
- For the hair ties, I cut a little notch in each side to hold the hair tie in place 
- For the wish bracelet, simply place the bracelet around the card, tightening it to fit.
