DIY Halloween Candy Kabobs – A Fun Halloween Treat

Bring a fun treat to your Halloween festivities with DIY Halloween candy kabobs. These colorful, creative treats are not only delicious but also a festive activity that kids and adults alike can enjoy. Setting up a candy kabob station is a fun and trendy Halloween party activity! Read on for tips to create your own candy kabobs.

Halloween Candy Kabob Supplies:

Before you start assembling your candy kabobs, gather the following supplies:

  • Gummy candies. The options are endless here. Check out the Halloween candy aisle and see what inspires you. I used:
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Treat bags – I used cellophane iridescent bags.

Halloween Candy Kabob Instructions

  • Prep your skewers – Either soak the skewers in water for about an hour or give them a good coat of nonstick cooking spray. This step helps the candies to slide onto your skewer.
  • Prep Your Ingredients – Open packages and make sure everything is ready to go.
  • Plan your design – Decide what order you want to layer your candy in.
  • Start assembling by sliding candies onto the skewer.

Candy Kabob Tips:

  • As already mentioned, soak your skewers before assembling or spray with non-stick cooking spray to keep candy from sticking as you’re putting together your kabobs.
  • If your skewer starts to stick, it will help to wipe it off after each candy addition.
  • For safety purposes, you can cut off the sharp end of your skewers once all the candy is added.
  • Also for safety, use your discretion and monitor younger children with the sharp ended skewers.
