Sol de Janeiro travel size body sprays may be the most perfect gift idea for a teen boo basket or party favor. What teen isn’t obsessed with Sol de Janeiro? As of right now, it’s difficult to find travel sizes of the body spray.  By repackaging the larger bottle into perfume atomizers, you will create the perfect travel size Sol de Janeiro. The atomizers are easy to throw into a purse, backpack or sports bag.

Since the nozzle on a body spray is larger than most perfumes, transferring the Sol de Janeiro body spray to an atomizer isn’t as easy as we hoped. We found a simple solution though! Read on to see how to transfer Sol de Janeiro to a perfume atomizer and how to package them for Halloween gifting.

Supplies You’ll Need to make these exact Halloween themed travel Size Sol de Janeiro Gifts:

• Sol de Janeiro Body Spray – Choose one or a few of their popular scents. We used scent 59 since it was purple and the scent my teen was begging for:

• Per my teen, the other best scents are:

• Travel-size Spray Bottle with a small nozzle. You will need this to transfer the Sol de Janeiro to the atomizer. The Sol de Janeiro nozzle is too big for the perfume atomizer. You may have an extra one lying around the house. Mine was from Target. Just take the top sprayer off and see if the nozzle is smaller than the body spray. It should be the same size as the nozzle of a perfume.

• Perfume atomizers these hold 5 mL. I went with purple since it matched the color of the body spray and was a Halloween color.

Halloween Packaging Supplies:

• Card stock to print the “Skull” de Janeiro tags – you can use paper if you don’t have card stock

• Optional: one inch circle punch. Alternatively, you can cut the labels out with scissors

• Hot glue, stretch cord or other adhesive to attach tags 

• Halloween black and white striped ribbon

• Number stickers 

• Cauldrons

• Paper shred I picked mine up at Dollar Tree

• Cellophane bags

• Bat stickers – I used these

Steps to Transfer Sol de Janeiro Body Spray to Travel Size Atomizers:

• First transfer the Sol de Janeiro to the bottle with a smaller nozzle. We just sprayed our body spray into the other bottle.

• Place the bottom of the atomizer on top of the spray bottle nozzle and pump until atomizer is filled.

Now they are ready to package and label!

Steps to Package Travel Size Sol de Janeiro Body Sprays for Halloween Gifts

If you are using these body sprays for Halloween gifts, Halloween party favors or Halloween boo baskets, why not zhush them up a little? Here are the steps for packaging them:

• First fill the cauldrons with paper shred

• Add the number of whichever Sol de Janeiro you used to the lids

• Print tags on cardstock. Here is a link to the free printable with two different tag options:

• Cut tags out or punch out with circle punch. The circle punch works better with cardstock than paper.

• Attach tags by poking a tiny hole and stringing it onto the atomizer or using adhesive

• Add a bow with the black and white ribbon

• Place the atomizer in the cauldron

• Slip it into the cellophane bag and trim the bag if it’s too tall

• Twist tie it closed and add the foam bat sticker
