If you are hosting an Easter or spring dinner, this DIY gift idea that doubles as a place card is a fun way to make your guests feel loved. Bonus, they look so cute added to your table-scape. Even if you’re not hosting Easter dinner, you could use these candles as a DIY gift for friends, a hostess, coworkers, neighbors, etc.

This is a list of everything I used, if you want to recreate this exact gift:
- Cardstock – I used white cardstock and kraft paper cardstock
- Babies breath – fresh or dried
- Glue dots or adhesive of choice
- Hot glue
- White pom poms for the bunny tails
- Tape
- Scissors
- Printer – Hopefully you have one, but if you’re in the market for one, I use this Epson printer for all my DIY’s.
- White Sharpie extra fine point paint pen to use one the kraft paper bunnies or black ultra fine tip Sharpie to use on the white paper bunnies – needed if you want to add names to personalize the gifts
Instructions for DIY Easter Gift Place cards:
To create this candle gift, follow these instructions:
- Print the free printable on white and/or kraft paper cardstock.
- Fold the paper in half so that when you cut the bunny shape out, you are essentially cutting two out,
- Holding the paper together, carefully cut out the bunny shape.
- If you want to personalize the candles, write the name of the recipient on the ear or wherever you prefer. You can write lightly with pencil first and then trace over with the pen.
- Using a glue dot or other adhesive, attach the two cutouts together just below the ears.
- Wrap the paper around the candle, securing at the bottom with tape or glue dot.
- Tie a bow just below the ears.
- Tuck a sprig of babies breath into the bow.
- Hot glue a pom pom to the back as a bunny tail – this may be my favorite part!
