While Valentine’s Day has often been associated with romantic love, it is trending toward a season to also celebrate galentines and other special people in our lives. Whether it’s for your friend, sister, daughter, or child’s favorite teacher, a thoughtful and cute galentine’s gift will make them feel the love.

Supplies for this Galentine Gift Idea
Here is everything I used:
- Heart jewelry box – Start with a cute heart-shaped travel-size jewelry box which is, in a sense, a mini galentines basket to put the other gifts inside. It’s great to have a jewelry box to use when traveling and it will remind your recipient of your friendship and care for them every time they travel.
- Burts Bee’s Besties Forever Minis lip balms – these mini lip balms are SO CUTE plus everyone needs lip balm during the cold winter months!
- Ghirardelli Chocolate Covered Strawberry Hearts or any chocolate candy will do because what is Valentine’s day without a little bit of chocolate?!
- XOXO earrings – these earrings will have the recipient looking very festive each Valentine’s season
- Heart-shaped Starbucks gift card – these are so cute, snag one (or more) on your next Starbucks run to gift through the Valentine’s season
Semi-Homemade Valentine’s Day Gift Bag Supplies:
You can, of course, put your gift in any standard Valentine’s Day gift bag but why not zhuzh it up with a fresh flower accent for the front?! Here are the supplies you’ll need:
- Valentine gift bags – this is the bag I used but really and gift bag will do. The magic is in the heart shaped “vase” that you’ll glue to the front
- Heart shaped gift tags – used for the gift bag “vase” – if you don’t want an entire bag of Valentine gift tags, simply cut a heart shape out of any Valentines-esque paper and you’re good to go
- Babies breath – I picked some up at my local grocery store. Any tiny flower will work here.
- Hot glue, tape and/or other adhesive to attach flowers to the back of the heart tag and the tag to the bag
- Tissue paper – I used pink and white with silver glitter
Directions for the DIY Part of the Valentine Gift Bag:
This little addition to the Valentine’s gift bag is so quick and easy and so worth the little extra effort!
- Glue babies breath or any small flower to the back of the heart gift tag.
- Add some more glue and attach it to the gift bag.
Now you are ready to fill your jewelry box with the galentine’s gifts.
