The Dollar Tree Halloween coffin boxes are so cute and are fun to fill with all sorts of Halloween treats or gifts. They are the perfect container to use as a mini charcuterie box. You can use these charcuteries as Halloween gifts for friends, teachers, coworkers, clients, the list goes on. They would also be a fun addition to any Halloween party. Who wouldn’t love their own personal charcuterie box?!
Supplies You’ll Need For These Mini Halloween Charcuterie Coffins
- Halloween Coffin: You can find these at your local Dollar Tree. I love that the coffins have an iridescent shimmer
- Assorted Meats: I just used salami and folded it and skewered it with a toothpick. Other options could be smoked salmon, pepperoni, or prosciutto. Customize these with your favorite charcuterie meats.
- Cheese: I am loving the combo of goat cheese and fig jam so that is the only cheese I used. You can again make this your own with your favorite cheese or cheeses.
- Leaf Press – this is totally optional but I loved how the leaf shaped goat cheese added to the fall aesthetic
- Crackers: Include a selection of crackers to complement your meats and cheeses. Bonus if you can find Halloween shaped crackers. I just used Triscuit thins.
- Fresh Fruits: I added grapes strawberries and blueberries. Apples would be good too if you are serving them before they have time to brown
- Fig Jam this tiny fig jam get perfectly in the coffin box
- Candy Eyeballs: These can be found at most stores. They’ll add a spooky twist to your charcuterie box.
- Mini cucumbers or veggies of choice
- Optional Garnishes: I used rosemary. You could use other fresh herbs, nuts, olives or spooky decorations. A piece of honeycomb is always a delicious addition to charcuterie.
- Parchment paper to line the coffin box
- Ribbon or bows as an option to zuszh up your box. I used this black and white ribbon

Instructions to Create DIY Mini Halloween Charcuterie Coffin Boxes

Here is what we did to create this exact look
- Wash out coffin box and dry it
- Trim parchment paper to fit inside the mini coffin box.
- Add fig jam. It doesn’t fit if you put it in sideways. Ask me how I know.
- Fill the leaf shaped press with goat cheese or Boursin would also be amazing. Press and remove the cheese from the press and add to the mini charcuterie box.

- Fold salami accordion style. Skewer with a toothpick and add the the box.
- Add grapes, sliced cucumber, blueberries, halved strawberries.
- Add crackers close to the end or add them just before serving or delivering your boxes so they don’t get soggy.
- Top with a sprig of rosemary.
- Add candy eyeballs throughout the box for a spooky aesthetic.
- Add the lid unless you are displaying them open.
- Top them with a bow or other spooky Halloween gift topper.
