A coffee bar (or at home coffee station) can free up cabinet and counter space in your kitchen. And who doesn’t love a home coffee bar?! A cute little space designated to one of the best things in the world.

The first thing we needed for our coffee bar was a cabinet. Our kitchen is white and so I thought a wooden cabinet would warm up the space a little but when I found what I thought was the perfect rustic wooden coffee cabinet, it just seemed to make the space look drab. I needed something lighter for a cleaner and brighter coastal coffee station look. When I found this White Coffee Cabinet with the warm-tone wooden top at a great price point, I knew it was the perfect cabinet for the space! It fits our Keurig and Ninja coffee machines perfectly with space in the middle for all of the coffee things. Did I mention this frees up counter space?!
Our exact cabinet often sells out quickly. There is a very similar cabinet in the same product line that includes a drawer. I totally would’ve gone with that one if it had been available when I was shopping. This would also make the perfect home coffee station:
Inside our coastal coffee bar cabinet, we have one side for coffee mugs and travel mugs and the other side for filters, ground coffee, coffee scoop, frother, extra k-cups, all the coffee accessory things. This frees up so much cabinet space in the kitchen.

Onto our coffee station shelf. I’m loving the geometric wooden and metal shelves we are seeing everywhere. I found this one at Homegoods. They had a great selection. Of course I had to add a nod to coastal with the jar of shells and dried coral. I’m also loving these Crate and Barrel Welcome II mugs. I like to change the mugs out for different seasons but these are a great year round mug.

If you’re thinking about adding a home coffee station to your home, I say go for it! We are absolutely loving ours. Everything is centralized and we have more cabinet and counter space for other things. It’s also a great little space for a coffee and tea station when we are hosting brunch.
