    Serving

    • Before serving, run a lime wedge along rim of glass, dip into chili lime salt
    • Add ice and mercadito to glass
    • Optional - for more heat, add chopped or sliced jalapenos to glass. For more sweetness, stir in additional agave.

    Notes

*Note: Water may seem like a surprising ingredient. Because these mercaditos are served in a pitcher and not shaken with ice before serving, water is needed to dilute the mercaditos. If you aren't serving them right away, you could always add ice and allow it to dilute the drink before serving.
